Once a renowned Hunting Lodge and until recently the country home of the Marquis & Marquise de Noë, the Chateau now offers an elegant classic country house feel with a warm and friendly ambience, the perfect surroundings for your special day! France is renowned for being the most romantic country for that special wedding and we cater for small intimate exclusive weddings all the way up to large wedding parties of over 160!
Our English staff have over 30 years hospitality experience and we offer a full wedding planning service to help you co-ordinate your day from home - wherever that may be!
As we understand you and your guests will probably want to stay with us for the days surrounding your wedding, we have styled the Chateau with a tasteful blend of antique, classic and contemporary furnishings and we also house an impressive art collection. The 10 acres of garden have shaded woodland walks, tranquil corners to sit and relax and a large swimming pool with magnificent views over the 180 acres of vines and grassland - perfect for relaxing with a cool glass of champagne on hot days! We can provide luxury guest accommodation in our 5 very spacious luxury Chateau bedrooms with a further 3 double bedrooms in our beautiful ‘Petite Maison’ situated near our pool. We can also recommend some excellent nearby accommodation for those with a large number of guests.
Gascony, now called the Gers, is famous for its gourmet produce in particular foie gras, confit de canard and of course the fine brandy, Armagnac. Our huge vegetable garden, orchard, hives and chickens keep our kitchen well-stocked and the table d’hotes service offered at the Chateau benefits from the abundant fresh local and home grown produce.
Chateau Pomiro has a well equipped games room with multi-gym, exercise bikes, table tennis, table football, large pool table etc. The Chateau also provides bikes for those guests wanting to explore the local area, a garden badminton court and archery sets. An 18 hole golf course and horse riding are available within 10 minutes drive of the Chateau.
